Welcome to Student Psychology Annual Research Conference (SPARC) 2022. SPARC is a research conference designed to facilitate personal and professional enrichment as both undergraduate and graduate students share their research and projects in a 15 min presentation. As we move into our 24th year we look forward to learning and sharing of our research within our UWG Psychology community!

Save the Date: SPARC Conference on April 21st, 2022

We are thrilled to announce the official date for the Student Psychology Annual Research Conference (SPARC) on April 21st, 2022! SPARC gives an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students within Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology to showcase in-progress or completed research projects on psychological themes. For this year’s conference, we are accepting 15-minute pre-recorded video submissions, PowerPoint presentations, and papers to showcase virtually due to the pandemic. Along with the virtual program, we are cautiously optimistic that an in-person viewing of the presentations may take place at the Campus Center on April 21st with celebrations afterwards.

The 2022 SPARC Conference theme is: “What’s Your SPARC?”

We invite you to share any sparks of curiosity, wonder, and wisdom that have lit you up during your time at UWG! Since all submissions require faculty endorsement, by sharing your project in this conference you will receive valuable feedback and knowledge regarding revising academic work. In addition, conference presentations make a great addition to your resume/cv!

Please submit your proposal via the form below by March 7th. Completed presentations are due on April 4th and premiere virtually on April 21st. Stay tuned for news about a potential in-person viewing as we get closer to the date.

P.S. In the upcoming weeks, we will also be collecting submissions for a participatory media project around the theme of #whatsyourSPARC so be on the lookout!

SUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL via Google Forms in the "Submissions" section of the website by March 7th, 2021.
